Story
For 15 years our academic after-school program has been a trusted partner for families seeking support, structure, and success for their children. What began as a small initiative to help students keep up with their schoolwork has grown into a thriving, dynamic program that serves lots of students each year.
Our founder recognized early on that when students and parents are supported beyond the school day, academic confidence and achievement soar. Built on that belief, we’ve spent over a decade developing a program that blends high-quality academic support with mentorship, enrichment, and care.
Over the years, we've grown stronger — expanding our services, deepening our community connections, and building a passionate team dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential. Today, we are proud to say our program is the strongest it has ever been.
Our staff is the heart of what we do. Driven by purpose and fueled by passion, our team goes above and beyond to meet each student’s unique needs. We believe in every child’s ability to succeed, and we work tirelessly to make that success possible — one afternoon at a time.

At Bowen Academy, our academic learning program is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment that fosters creativity, encourages academic curiosity, and promotes personal growth. We aim to support k-8th grade students from diverse backgrounds by offering enriching activities and educational opportunities that inspire a lifelong love for learning, cultivate critical thinking skills, and empower them to reach their full potential.
